The music plan for your wedding
Every wedding has its own flow: from the quiet ceremony through a convivial drinks reception and dinner to a party you will never forget. We create a separate music plan for each phase. During the ceremony, it is all about atmosphere and emotion — subtle piano, acoustic tracks or your own song. At the drinks reception, we keep it light and conversation-friendly. Dinner gets background music that fits the moment. And then the party: we start with recognisable tracks that get everyone involved and build towards the highlights of the evening. We discuss all of this in advance and record it in a run sheet.
The first dance: how we approach it
The first dance is one of the most personal moments of your day. We help with the music choice and can shorten the track, create a mashup or build in a surprise element. During the dance, we provide the right spotlight and dim the surrounding lighting. Want guests to join in halfway? We build the track up and transition to a group song. Anything is possible — we discuss it in advance and script it into the run sheet.
Collaboration with the venue and other suppliers
A wedding is teamwork. We coordinate our planning with the venue, the officiant, the caterer and any other suppliers. We share our run sheet with all parties involved so everyone knows when what happens. On the day itself, we coordinate the transitions: when does the music go down for speeches, when do we dim the lights for dessert, when does the party kick off? That advance coordination prevents surprises on the day itself.
